2021

The Spark

While working in senior marketing leadership, managing multi-million pound budgets across every discipline from event management to digital, our founder Callum began channelling a long-held passion for web design into something real. Digital Cal was born as a side hustle alongside the day job.

2022

Building Momentum

What started as a creative outlet quickly proved there was serious demand. Digital Cal matured from passion project into a legitimate operation, taking on client work and refining the craft that would define everything to come.

2023

Web Hero is Born

Digital Cal rebranded to Web Hero , launching on web-hero.co.uk with a sharpened identity. The offering diversified beyond pure web design into SEO, social media, branding and strategic consultancy to deliver full-spectrum digital solutions.

2024

Going Official

Callum incorporated Web Hero Limited and We Are Extension Limited. Consultative relationships with previous employers continued as both ventures scaled through the year.

2025

Rapid Growth

A landmark year. Web Hero underwent a complete rebrand with Grid Design Agency , partnered with CreditSafe to offer clients flexible pay-monthly options, and became VAT registered. Agency Genius launched to support Duda agencies with white-label expert services, the Department of Prompted Intelligence (DOPI) was created to produce B2B content rebuilt with AI, and the concept for Avago.AI , an AI-powered website builder, was born.

2026

Making It Official

Web Hero secured registered trademarks and cemented its position in the market. The foundations laid over five years of relentless work are now powering the next chapter.

Beyond

What's Next

Avago.AI enters the market, DOPI scales its AI content production, and Web Hero continues building premium digital experiences for businesses that refuse to settle for average.
