Who we are
Web Hero Limited (“Web Hero”, “we”) is a web design and software studio registered in England, operating from The Department, Leeds Dock, Leeds. We are the data controller for personal data collected through webhero.co. Contact: info@webhero.co.
What we collect and why
Enquiry and booking forms collect your name, email address, company and the message or slot you submit. We use this to reply to you, which is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries you initiate. Form submissions also trigger an internal email and a notification to our private Slack workspace so we can respond quickly.
Analytics: we use OpenPanel and Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used (pages viewed, anonymised usage events, and one “thank you” event when a form is submitted successfully). IP anonymisation is enabled for Google Analytics. Analytics data is aggregated and is not used to identify you.
Email delivery for confirmations runs through Resend. The site is hosted on Vercel. Each provider processes data under its own data processing agreement.
What we do not do
We do not sell personal data, run third-party advertising trackers, or send marketing email to enquiry addresses without asking first.
Retention
Enquiry correspondence is kept while we work together and for up to 24 months after the last contact, then deleted. Analytics retention follows the provider defaults (14 months for Google Analytics).
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, object to processing, and complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk). Email info@webhero.co and we will respond within one month.
