You can hand your thinking to an AI. You cannot hand it your understanding. AI can produce the convincing illusion that it understands what you’re trying to do — but only you actually know the problem you’re solving. It can get you there faster and surface ideas you’d have missed; it still isn’t you, and one day it may have problems of its own. The understanding stays with the person who lived the problem.

So we build the products we’re close to. Our founder, Callum, has spent almost ten years in and around the fleet industry — and stayed close to it the whole time he’s run Web Hero. He understands, first-hand, the problems businesses with commercial fleets actually have.

When the government moved on the digital waste-tracking mandate, he didn’t see a trend to chase — he saw a problem he already understood. Years of working with waste carriers and receivers taught him that no two waste companies look the same, and that the obvious question nobody had answered was: why can’t one system serve all of them? That understanding is what became LoadSnap.
