Price Match  Guarantee

WebHero will match the net cost of any written quote you've received from another Duda expert for a comparable project. If we accept the work, we honour the matched price. If we don't believe we can deliver to our standards at that price, we will decline the project — no hard sell, no pressure, and no obligation on your part.

This is a straightforward commitment: the only question left on the table is whose work you prefer.

To qualify for the price match guarantee, all of the following must apply:

• You have a written quote from another provider listed in the official Duda Experts directory
• The quote is for a comparable scope of work — similar number of pages, functionality, integrations, and deliverables
• The quote was issued within the last 30 days and has not expired
• The quote is for a new project, not ongoing retainer work, maintenance, or hosting
• You share the full quote with us for review, including the provider name, scope, and total cost

The price match applies to the net cost of the competing quote — the total project fee excluding VAT, sales tax, and any other local taxes.

If the competing quote includes items we consider out of scope for web design and development — such as ongoing advertising spend, third-party software licences, stock photography purchases, or domain registration fees — those will be excluded from the comparison. We'll be transparent about what we're matching and why.

We'll review the competing quote against what we'd deliver for the same project. If their quote covers a materially different scope to what we'd propose — for example, significantly fewer pages, no SEO, no responsive design, or no performance optimisation — we may adjust our comparison accordingly.

We're matching price for equivalent work, not matching a stripped-down quote against a premium deliverable. If we believe their scope is insufficient for your needs, we'll explain why and give you the option to proceed at their scope or invest in a more complete solution.

We do not guarantee matching another provider's payment terms. Payment structures depend on the project cost and complexity:

Projects under £350: Full payment is required upfront before work begins.

Projects over £350: We typically work on a 50% deposit with the remaining balance due on project completion, prior to the site going live.

A deposit is always required. This is standard practice for creative and development work and protects both parties. If the competing provider offers different payment terms — such as no deposit, milestone billing, or post-delivery invoicing — we are not obligated to replicate those terms.

WebHero reserves the right to decline any project under this guarantee. We are a small creative agency based in Leeds, UK, with UK cost-of-living overheads. If a competing quote is from a provider operating in a region with significantly lower labour costs, it may not be economically viable for us to match the price while maintaining the standards we hold ourselves to.

This is not a criticism of those providers. Good work happens everywhere, and lower costs don't automatically mean lower quality. But we have to be honest about the economic realities of running a UK-based business. If the numbers don't work, we'll tell you upfront rather than accept the work and cut corners.

The following are explicitly excluded:

• Ongoing retainer or maintenance agreements
• Hosting fees or monthly management services
• Quotes from providers not listed in the Duda Experts directory
• Quotes for work on platforms other than Duda
• Verbal or informal estimates that are not documented in writing
• Quotes that have expired or been withdrawn by the issuing provider
• Projects where the primary deliverable is not a Duda website or Duda-based development
• Retrospective price matching on projects already underway or completed

If you come to us directly without a competing quote, we'll simply price the project based on scope, complexity, and deliverables. Our standard pricing typically ranges from £350 to £12,000 for most web design and development projects, depending on the number of pages, custom functionality, integrations, and content requirements.

The price match guarantee applies specifically and exclusively when you hold a valid written quote from another Duda expert.

WebHero reserves the right to amend, update, or withdraw this guarantee at any time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. If you've already submitted a claim under the guarantee before a change takes effect, your claim will be assessed under the terms that were in place at the time of submission.
