How we built and branded Torchpass, a continuity plan for founders

Torchpass is our own product: a continuity plan for people who hold the only set of keys, stored end to end encrypted so their people can step in.

The challenge

In most small companies one person holds the accounts, the passwords, the supplier relationships and the knowledge that keeps the business running. If something happens to them, none of it is reachable. The product problem is trust: the same store that makes a plan usable by the right people at the right moment must be one that nobody, including us, can read.

What we built

  • A brand and marketing site for a product whose subject matter is genuinely uncomfortable, written to be calm and plain rather than alarming
  • Zero-knowledge positioning carried through the site: end-to-end encryption, offline recovery so a plan opens without us, and a multi-party time-gated release protocol
  • A WebGL thread field behind the hero, self-hosted alongside GSAP and Three.js so the page ships without third-party CDN calls
  • A static build with no framework: a composer script assembles pages and the sitemap from source partials, so the deployed site is plain HTML served directly
  • A pre-flight check script that fails the build on broken links, bad anchors, heading-order problems, missing SEO fields and leftover placeholders

The result

Torchpass runs as a Web Hero trading name with the brand, the site and the product all built in-house. Presented deliverable-led: no adoption figure is claimed here.
